Liverpool still have business to do in this transfer window, just not incoming business. The Reds will now be focusing their energies on trimming the squad, moving on the deadwood and recouping some of the transfer fees they’ve paid over the summer. Twitter has backed reports that Leeds United are preparing a bid for Yasser Larouci.

Yasser Larouci at Liverpool
Liverpool signed Yasser Larouci from Le Havre’s academy in 2017.
When the Algerian arrived on Merseyside he was a tricky winger but he was quickly converted into a left back, a move which paid off in abundance.
Larouci made his Reds’ debut in January, coming on for James Milner at Anfield, stepping into a Merseyside Derby in the FA Cup.

Marcelo Bielsa is said to be intent on bringing in competition at left back for Stuart Dallas.
Given that the Reds’ full back only has a year left on his deal the Yorkshire side believe they can bag him for a bargain fee.
At 19-years-old he is still full of potential and given his athletic ability he would fit right in with Leeds’ high octane football.
Theo Squires told the Blood Red Podcast that the youngster is intent on a move as he looks for first team football.

Another supporter pondered whether the Reds have dropped their valuation.
Yea they enquired before but didn’t want to pay the money. Wonder if that has changed. Or if we are prepared to take less.

One fan was hoping that the club will manage to get their money back for the summer spend.
I hope we recoup some funds in the next 36 hours. Shaqiri, Wilson, Grujic and Larouci will not play for us in the PL so let’s hurry up and sell them to get funds that can be reinvested next summer
