The football is off. The global health emergency has prompted the Premier League, EFL and other authorities around the world to suspend competition. With many different voices competing to get across their own theory of how we should resolve the league, Karen Brady has come in for heavy criticism – Neil Atkinson from The Anfield Wrap tore her to bits on Sky Sports in response.

Brady controversially claimed (in the paper which we don’t speak about) that the season should be declared ‘null and void’.

The West Ham United executive was obviously speaking entirely in self interest, her side are only safe from relegation on goal difference as it stands.

Dropping into the Championship would be a financial disaster for the East End club, Brady is obviously trying to capitalise on a global health crisis in order to benefit her own.

Speaking on Sky Sports earlier today, Neil Atkinson simply tore apart Karen Brady, saying:

“It would be absolutely ridiculous [to void the season] but Karen Brady says a lot of things that are absolutely ridiculous so she shouldn’t be taken seriously at any stage of proceedings.”

Liverpool fans have been lapping it up, this supporter said Neil spoke the truth.

Another said that even the great man himself couldn’t have put it better.

Of course The Reds deserve the title, they’ve swept apart everyone in front of them.

Fingers crossed people will come to their senses.

They’ll do anything to stop us but they can’t deny the record…

But Atkinson was ‘spot on’, we aren’t the main concern here – it’s those in more dire straits.
