This weekend Liverpool managed to get back to winning ways following three defeats in four games. The Reds were in charge throughout as they coasted to victory over Bournemouth. Speaking after the game Jürgen Klopp said the Liverpool fans produced the best midday atmosphere since he’s been at the club.

Bournemouth jolted The Reds awake early on in the early kick off.
Callum Wilson shoved Joe Gomez off the ball before laying the ball off and tapping the ball in moments later to put The Cherries ahead.
Parity was soon restored when Sadio Mane seized on Jack Simpson’s loose pass. The Senegalese forward played the ball behind the onrushing Mo Salah but the Egyptian King recovered well to fire past Aaron Ramsdale.
Mane got himself on the scoresheet before halftime when he neatly slotted into the bottom right corner following Virgil van Dijk’s slide rule pass.
Speaking after the game, Jürgen Klopp told his post-match press conference:
“Now, we have three days to prepare for another difficult game.
“In a wonderful stadium and a sensational crowd that was, I think, the best 12:30 pm performance of our crowd since I am here. I loved it, so let’s make sure we are ready for that.”
What RTK has to say
Maybe it was louder in the stadium than the TV allowed us to hear.
Anfield sounded nervous, anxious for a win. Kopites can be forgiven for their anxieties, it has been so many years since the last Premier League title and whilst this season appears to be a foregone conclusion, we have been hurt before.
Despite our conflicting reports, Jürgen Klopp praising the Liverpool fans is always pleasant to hear – we will definitely need a raucous Anfield atmosphere on Wednesday night when Atleti come calling.
