Liverpool and Manchester United have been at war for decades, the rivalry is as old as the game, as old as the hills, as old as the Manchester ship canal. The two clubs will never stop trying to get one over on one another, we could see this play out in the transfer market this summer with Liverpool and Manchester United reportedly set to do war over a Bundesliga duo.

The Express have reported that United are set to rival The Reds for both Jadon Sancho and Timo Werner.
Whilst the Red Devils’ interest in Sancho is well known, the links between them and Werner have been sporadic and tentative at best.
Sancho is in the form of his young life at Dortmund. He has bagged 14 goals and 14 assists so far this campaign, in just 21 starts for the Bundesliga side.
They are frankly freakish stats for a man that is still a teenager until the end of March.
Timo Werner is also enjoying something of a purple patch, he’s netted 21 goals in 24 games in the league, with seven assists to boot.
What RTK has to say
Whoever comes out on top in this tussle has earned themselves a massive victory.
Jadon Sancho and Timo Werner are set to light up the sport for the next decade. They are two youngsters already playing at a world class level, there’s no telling how important they can become down the line.
If we lose either player to the old enemy we could be handing them an advantage going forward, whoever bags these players will likely have them for the peak of their careers as they will command too high a fee in future.
Fingers crossed we manage to sign half of the duo at least.
