Liverpool has turned a corner in the last year. Prior to the Champions League win in Madrid the outside world saw these Reds as an incredibly impressive side that would ultimately fall just short of their potential. Since the 1st of June 2019 we have seen Anfield reestablished as a destination rather than a stepping stone. One of the last players to make the mistake of forcing a move out is now regretting his decision and is looking for a move, however, Emre Can has ruled out signing for Manchester United.
Emre left Liverpool after their Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid in Kiev. The German international signed a four year deal with the Italian giants, leaving Anfield on a Bosman.
The versatile Can has found himself frozen out of the Juve side this season, he was particularly furious at being left out of the Champions League squad – rumours of an impending exit followed swiftly after.
According to Turin based newspaper Tuttosport (via Sportwitness), Juventus were prepared to let the German midfielder go for €30m – making a healthy profit on the €0 they paid for the midfielder.
However, Manchester United are reported to have changed their mind on signing Emre Can. The player himself as also apparently decided against the move, not wanting to spoil the ‘affection’ he has from Liverpool fans.

And breathe. Whilst we don’t need him and have been doing just fine without him, Manchester United signing Emre Can would have been tough to swallow.
The most bizarre thing about this story is Emre allegedly believing that Kopites have affection for him – mate, you forced yourself out on a free, we aren’t fond of you whatsoever.
