There aren’t many ways to improve this Liverpool side, Jürgen Klopp’s men have won all but one game in the Premier League this season and have gone a full calendar year unbeaten in the competition. One way in which the Reds can improve is in depth and rotation options – with this in mind, we believe Liverpool should sign Dani Olmo before Barcelona get their man back.
Olmo came through the ranks at La Masia – Barcelona’s famous and successful academy – before surprising everybody by moving to Dinamo Zagreb in 2014.
Since his move to Croatia, the attacking midfielder has gone from strength to strength – he has become his side’s main creative force and has impressed with his performances in the Champions League.
According to The Guardian, Chelsea and Manchester United are rumoured to be interested in bringing the 21-year-old to the Premier League but the pair fear that a return to the Camp Nou is all but a certainty.
If Liverpool were to sign Dani Olmo, Jürgen Klopp could edge back towards the days of the “fab four” of Sadio Mane, Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah. Whilst the Reds have succeeded since Phil left the band, we would be foolish to pass up the opportunity to replace him.

Olmo possesses all the attributes necessary to fill the void left by Coutinho – the Spaniard is nimble, has an eye for a pass and can find the net from range if needed. Naby Keita may have made great strides in recent weeks but he is not as attack minded as Coutinho, the Guinean typically picks up the ball deeper in midfield.
Whether or not Liverpool enter the race for Dani Olmo remains to be seen, we can just send our prayers to Michael Edwards.
