We are at a point in the season when every game is the most important game of the season – even by that measure, Leicester City away on Boxing Day is a biggie. If the Reds beat The Foxes and win their game in hand then they will be 16 points clear of Brendan Rodgers’ men. Here is our predicted Liverpool lineup to face Leicester City:
Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker

Right back: Trent Alexander-Arnold
Trent rarely lets us down in big games, with us playing away we will need his switch of play to launch us onto the counter attack.
Centre back: Virgil van Dijk
The towering Dutchman will be vital in keeping the in form Jamie Vardy quiet.
Centre back: Joe Gomez
Joe Gomez has been staking his claim for a permanent role in Jürgen’s first XI, another strong performance should put any doubts to rest.
Left back: Andy Robertson
Andy Robbo has become our own little yard dog, the Joe Pesci of Anfield. In a fierce game, he will be at the centre of any tussles.
Defensive midfield: Jordan Henderson
The skipper will be crucial to the Liverpool lineup against Leicester City, his through ball to Sadio Mane against Flamengo was delightful.
Centre midfield: Naby Keita
The Guinean midfielder has hit a rich vein of form in recent weeks. He is finally playing like the player we bought, this is yet another opportunity for him to show his class.
