Hot on the heels of a comfortable win over local rivals Everton, the Reds journey to the South Coast to take on Eddie Howe’s struggling Cherries. Here is our predicted Liverpool lineup to face Bournemouth.

Goalkeeper: Alisson
After missing the midweek derby due to suspension, the Brazilian reclaims his place between the sticks.
Right back: Trent Alexander-Arnold
The Scouser in our team was as Scouse as anything against Everton – going in hard on his opponents and pinging some superb passes.
Centre back: Virgil van Dijk
Big Virg may have been lucky to not have given away a penalty against The Ev, he should prove too much for the Bournemouth attack.
Centre back: Dejan Lovren
The Croatian pulled out a peach of a ball to assist Divock Origi’s second goal against Everton.
Left back: Andy Robertson
The Scotsman rattled the Blues midweek with his antics, he’s nailed on for the Liverpool lineup against Bournemouth.
Defensive midfield: Jordan Henderson
The captain dropped to the bench midweek and should be fully energised as a result.
Defensive midfield: Gini Wijnaldum
The Dutchman bagged a late goal against The Ev and will be buzzing to get back out there on Saturday.
Attacking midfield: Roberto Firmino
A bold call but we’re hoping that the gaffer doesn’t drop Divock Origi. Firmino was an attacking midfielder when he arrived at Anfield.
Right wing: Mo Salah
The Egyptian King hasn’t been in the best of form of late, fingers crossed a midweek rest has done him some good.
Striker: Divock Origi
The Liverpool legend netted two superlative goals against Everton, he deserves a place in the Liverpool lineup against Bournemouth.
Left wing: Sadio Mane
There are no words for how impressive this man has been of late, he terrorised the Blues on Wednesday.
