This weekend was a good weekend to be a Liverpool fan. The Reds triumphed once again, beating Brighton 2-1 at Anfield and Harry Wilson netted another brace for Bournemouth. The on loan Anfield star has been in impressive form so far this season for the Cherries and is gaining quite the backing on Merseyside. Bournemouth played Spurs on Saturday, visiting the Tottenham Hotspur stadium with the hosts in buoyant mood thanks to a Jose Mourinho injection. The North London side were decisive with their chances, a brace from Dele Alli and a goal from Moussa Sissoko gave the Lilywhites a three goal lead.

However, 63rd minute substitute Harry Wilson was in no mood to give up – netting a brace after coming on. The Welshman’s first goal caught the attention of fans across the country as he curled yet another free kick into the top corner.

Liverpool fans on Twitter have been clamouring for Harry Wilson to be rewarded for his form.

This statistician pointed out that only Sadio Mane and Mo Salah have bagged more Premier League goals than the on loan youngster.

One Kopite asserted that the Welshman could be the missing piece of the puzzle if he slots in at 10.

Another Red reflected that he definitely needs a place in the first team owing to his talent.
