Two first half assists for the Scouser, he showed just how vital he is to the side.

Centre back: Dejan Lovren – 8.5
Solid at the back, he looks like a new man next to Van Dijk.

Centre midfield: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain – 9
The Ox has breathed new life into the midfield, he used the ball quickly and with purpose.
Right wing: Mo Salah – 6
Mo is far from his best and could likely do with another week or so to fully rest up and come back fighting.
Striker: Bobby Firmino – 8
Bobby was creative and determined as ever. Unlucky to finish the game without a goal for the 11th consecutive time at Anfield.
