The Reds face a hectic schedule over the next month or so. We’ll play every few days, in different cities, countries and even continents.

Keita will get his chance to place during this period and he really needs to take it.

His time at Anfield has not gone to plan as of yet, A failure to settle and sub-par performances has meant Keita is yet to live up to his potential.

Jurgen Klopp has no other choice than to rely on the player during this 10-game run. Without Fabinho, Keita will be more important than ever to this Liverpool side.

The 24-year-old became Liverpool’s record signing in 2017 when the Reds agreed a £48m transfer from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig.

Anticipation built about his arrival as Liverpool had to wait an entire year to make the move official. However, since then he has been outshone by his fellow midfielders.

Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Gini Wijanldum, Alex Olade-Chamberlain and Fabinho are all ahead of Keita in the pecking order. He’ll need to change that as soon as possible.

It is approaching 18 months since he made the move to Merseyside and its time for him to stamp his mark on this Liverpool side.

Naby Keita has the perfect opportunity for game time over the coming weeks, he must take it and show Reds fans exactly what he is capable of.
