Liverpool’s Nike deal was finally confirmed making the sportswear giants our official kit manufacturers moving forward.
The Reds’ deal with Nike had been held up by a court battle with current kit makers New Balance.
Today the high court ruled in favour of the club based on the marketing prowess of Nike.
The promise of promotion through superstars such as Lebron James, Serena Williams and Drake was enough to convince the judge to side with Liverpool.
Liverpool’s deal with Nike is thought to be worth £30m plus royalties and will commence in summer 2020.
The Reds are hoping Nike’s global reach will put Liverpool merchandise in over 6,000 stores worldwide and help the club reach the Chinese market.
Now all the official stuff is done Liverpool fans can start looking forward everything this Nike deal will bring.

One Liverpool fan has been doing some impressive math on the Nike deal
So Liverpool kit ranges from £60-95 per shirt ! Last season NB sold 2.9M so from shirt sales alone a min of £174M which under the Nike deal would raise £30M guaranteed + £35M commission =£65M minimum not including shorts, jackets and the rest !

Not everyone was happy…
Nike kits are so dull. Rather Liverpool had the three stripes back on their shoulders.
