Sadio Mane goal

The Reds have been unstoppable on the front foot this season and Sadio Mane has been at the heart of that. The Senegalese winger is Liverpool’s leading goalscorer in the Premier League with five goals so far. Sadio was crucial to the Reds narrow victory over Leicester City before the international break, he scored the first goal and won the crucial last minute penalty that won Liverpool the game. He’ll be coming up against an ageing Ashley Young or an inexperienced Diogo Dalot, neither will be able to contain him.

We are the champions, champions of Europe

Since lifting the Champions League for the 6th time in June, Reds fans have been in defiant mood. Kopites have taken to screaming at their opposition “we are the champions, champions of Europe”. It is a stern two fingers, a warning, to any team that dares get in the way of the unstoppable force that is Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool.

Alisson’s first clean sheet

The Reds have been without their superstar Brazilian since he picked up a calf injury on the first day of the season. Adrian has been a worthy deputy but Kopites will be buzzing to have the world’s best stopper back in goal. Man United have struggled for goals this campaign, this should give Alisson his first clean sheet of the season.
