It is a transfer saga that is likely far from its conclusion, the Harvey Elliott move to Liverpool. The Reds signed the 16 year old on a free from Fulham over the summer but owe the Championship side compensation for the youngster. With the player so talented for his young age, the final figure is likely to be hotly debated. Respected journalist Paul Joyce has reported that Fulham have arrived at their Harvey Elliott fee.

Now, let’s be honest, £7m is a laughable sum. In the current market, that is a snip. Harvey Elliott was one of Europe’s most sought after youngsters over the summer after making his Premier League debut for the Cottagers aged 16 years and 30 days, a division record.
Considering that Real Madrid spent a whopping £38.7m on 18 year old Vinicius Junior, to pay just a fraction of the price for a talent as bright as Elliott would be an absolute steal.
The English inside forward was impressive throughout pre-season. On Wednesday night he made his first team debut and was one of the best players on the pitch as Liverpool trounced minnows MK Dons 2-0 in the League Cup 3rd round. He impressed the Liverpool faithful with his positive play and tricky feet, he even hit the bar twice in the match.
If the Harvey Elliott fee is just £7m then Michael Edwards and co have played an absolute blinder.
