Who is going to stop us at this rate? The Reds notched their 15th consecutive Premier League victory over the weekend. Liverpool went to Stamford Bridge and won 2-1 against a valiant Chelsea side. It was Jürgen Klopp’s 150th Premier League game in charge of Liverpool and his side marked the occasion by setting, smashing and extending records. Here are 3 milestones from the Reds scintillating weekend:

Club record: 7th straight away victory in the league
When the final whistle blew at the Bridge, the Reds set a club record for consecutive wins away in the league. This game in particular promised to be a stumbling block for this record. Prior to kick off over the weekend, Liverpool had won just 1 in their last 12 games away to the top 6. With the Reds proving irresistible both home and away, we are set to only extend our lead at the top of the league with a trip to Sheffield United next weekend.
Club record: 15th consecutive Premier League win
Klopp’s men extended the club record they currently hold. When the Reds turned over Burnley 3-0, they broke the club record for consecutive league wins. Liverpool extended the tally to 15 over the weekend.
Premier League record: Back to back seasons winning the opening 6
Liverpool became the first team in Premier League history win their opening 6 games in successive seasons. That is quite the stat. The only difference between this season and last being that Man City seem unable to keep up with the pace this time round. Looks like it could finally, finally, be our year.
