The Reds are in irresistible form. They have just held on valiantly for a 2-1 win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. After a youth filled trip to MK Dons on Wednesday, the Reds have a win win win weekend ahead. Kopites can’t really lose this Saturday. Liverpool have an away trip to Sheffield United on the cards whilst Manchester City travel to Everton.

Sheffield United have been in ok form since coming up from the Championship. The South Yorkshire side have managed 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses in their opening 6 games in the Premier League. These results include an impressive draw at Chelsea as well as an away win at Everton. The Blades will be hoping to put up a fight on Saturday but with Liverpool having won their last 15 Premier League games, the visitors are nearly certain to win the game with ease.
The late kick off on Saturday sees Manchester City take on Everton at Goodison park. If Everton beat Manchester City then Liverpool could be 8 points clear at the top of the league at the end of the match week. If the Toffees hold their visitors to a draw, the gap could be 7 points. If Man City beat the Ev, then we can all have a laugh at our rivals expense. The game also has the added sweetness of Everton fans unable to enjoy beating the Champions if they manage to pull off an upset on Saturday.
It promises to be a great weekend to be a Liverpool fan, it’s a win win win situation.
