Cardiff City are interested in signing Marko Grujic after a successful loan spell in Wales last season but AC Milan and Lazio are also keen.
After helping Cardiff City automatically gain promotion to the Premier League last season, a host of clubs, including the Welsh outfit, are interested in acquiring Marko Grujic’s services for the 2018/19 campaign.
Although he is yet to start a Premier League game since joining Liverpool in January 2016, Grujic is very highly rated by Jürgen Klopp “due to his physical and technical attributes.”
As Neil Jones writes for Goal, Liverpool want Grujic to go out on loan next season to gain further first team experience with Lazio and AC Milan potential destinations. Cardiff City, however, are in pole position to land the Serb.
The Welsh outfit would be the best place for Grujic continue his development, with Neil Jones writing: “Liverpool are keen for Grujic to work on his defensive awareness, decision-making and discipline, and would ideally like him to remain in the Premier League in order to do so.”
A week ago TMW reported that Lazio are impressed with Grujic after his extended run of games with Cardiff.
Liverpool are also looking to send Ryan Kent, Sheyi Ojo, Allan Rodrigues de Souza, Taiwo Awoniyi and Pedro Chirivella out on loan.
