Guinean journalist Amadou Makadji reports that RB Leipzig will find it difficult to reject an €80m bid for Naby Keïta.

Liverpool have reportedly submitted a third and final bid for Naby Keïta worth €80 million as the Reds realise that it’s now or never in their pursuit of the highly talented 22-year-old.

RB Leipzig have frustrated Liverpool twice so far this summer, rejecting two bids worth £57m and £66m.

The German club have defied every attempt from Liverpool to sign Keïta, despite the player being desperate for a move to Anfield.

Today, however, foot224.com journo Amadou Makadji, who has been spot on with everything he has reported about Keïta, claims that the next week will be “decisive” and that RBL will find an £80m offer for the midfielder difficult to resist.

Makadji insists that meetings will take place in the next few days to finalise a deal and that with Liverpool and Keïta piling the pressure on the German side, they’re set to cave under the pressure.

As much as I’d like to believe this is true and there is every possibility that it is, it doesn’t sound like anything we know about Leipzig.

Every report that we have published about Keïta has testified to Leipzig’s resolve being steadfast as far as holding onto their best players is concerned.

For now, I would caution restraint and wait for the next few days to pass and see if Liverpool have a bid for the player accepted.

What do you think? Is RB Leipzig ready to give up and let Naby Keïta join Liverpool this summer?
