Bradley Barcola is reportedly growing more receptive to the idea of playing for Liverpool next season.

The Reds are on the lookout for a new winger this summer, and recent reports have suggested that Barcola will figure highly on their list of targets.

The France international has fallen down the pecking order a little at Paris Saint-Germain, leaving the door open for Liverpool to swoop in. According to French outlet Le10Sport, things are beginning to ‘heat up’ in this particular transfer chase.

Liverpool pushing harder for Barcola

Liverpool were heavily linked with a move for Barcola in the summer of 2025, but decided to keep their powder dry in order to keep the pathway open for Rio Ngumoha.

The decision not to pursue a deal also appears to have been because of a reluctance from the player’s side, with Barcola said to have ultimately been convinced into staying at PSG and trying to win another Champions League.

Having made it to the final for a second year in succession – and beating Liverpool along the way again – the French giants stand on the cusp of achieving that dream.

As a result, it’s claimed that Barcola is becoming ‘increasingly receptive’ to the idea of a transfer away, with Liverpool ‘more insistent than ever’ in their interest.

PSG have reportedly not yet ruled out the possibility of selling the 23-year-old if he asks to leave, and with his head seemingly starting to be turned, things are getting serious.

Barcola is said to be looking for a more prominent role next season, something Liverpool could likely offer to him.

With that in mind, the former Lyon star is claimed to be ‘clearly interested’ in a switch to Anfield in order to revitalise his career.

Interestingly, there is no mention of a fee at this stage, but with only two years left to run on his contract, perhaps there is scope for Liverpool to get themselves a bit of a bargain.
