Mohamed Salah’s final farewell to Liverpool will come in a couple of weeks, and there is every reason to believe Jurgen Klopp could be there to send him off.

Despite his recent hamstring issue, Liverpool expect Salah to be back on the pitch again before the end of the season, and the hope will be that he can feature on the final day against Brentford at home.

That already makes it an emotional afternoon. But with Klopp due to be in the UK that weekend, there is now a real chance that defining figures of Liverpool’s modern era could share one final Anfield moment.

Jurgen Klopp will be in the UK for Salah and Andy Robertson’s farewell match

Klopp is set to be in Wales that weekend for the FAW National Coaches Conference 2026 in Newport.

Whether he gets back to Anfield in time remains to be seen. But it is hard to imagine he will not at least try if Salah is saying goodbye to Liverpool.

The final day against Brentford is already shaping up to be about far more than the match itself. Salah of course, but Andy Robertson is also bidding Liverpool farewell, and Alisson Becker could yet be another huge name making his final appearance.

For Salah, though, the emotion will be on another level. He is one of the greatest players Liverpool have ever had. His goals, consistency and durability have been unmatched across his time at the club.

Klopp helped build the team that allowed Salah to become that force. Salah, in return, became one of the faces of Klopp’s Liverpool.

Robertson deserves that same respect too. He has been one of the biggest personalities and most reliable performers of the last decade.

Caoimhin Kelleher and Jordan Henderson are now with Brentford, so they will be there to share in the moment with their old teammates as well.

There is still no guarantee Klopp will be in attendance, but there is a good chance he will be close enough for it to happen. And if it does, it would be the perfect final touch to Salah’s Liverpool farewell.
