Eli Junior Kroupi has emerged as a Liverpool target as they aim to replace Mohamed Salah in the summer.

Salah is set to leave for free, while there is talk around Federico Chiesa moving as well.

Two wingers are on Liverpool’s transfer list already, while Eli Junior Kroupi is now being mooted as an option for the Reds, though Bournemouth are not keen on a sale.

You can only pick ONE player for Liverpool to sign this summer, who is it?

Liverpool join Chelsea and more in the race for Eli Junior Kroupi

The 19-year-old moved to England from FC Lorient in the winter of 2025 for around £10m after spending the second half of last season back on loan in France following the completion of the deal.

Despite his age, Kroupi has hit the ground running at Bournemouth, already scoring 12 Premier League goals this term.

That is more than every single Liverpool player, with Hugo Ekitike, who will now miss the remainder of the campaign due to injury, sitting just below the Cherries ace with 11.

In turn, it is perhaps not surprising to see the Merseyside outfit named among the English sides mulling over a move.

Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are all credited with an interest in a recent report from the Daily Mail.

However, Bournemouth are said to be reluctant to lose Kroupi after he arrived less than 12 months ago.

But crucially, the report says that the South Coast outfit ‘have shown they are willing to deal if the price is right’.

How much is Eli Junior Kroupi worth?

Despite only costing around £10m last year and having just under one season of Premier League football under his belt, Kroupi’s value is thought to have more than tripled.

Transfermarkt give the player a valuation of €40m, which is around £34.5m.

Of course, that is only an estimate of how much he could cost, but if he were to move for close to that sum, it could save Liverpool a lot of money in comparison to other targets.

Yan Diomande, for example, could cost around £87m during the summer window, which is more than double that of Bournemouth man’s valuation.

Diomande has had a better season and is performing in a ‘bigger’ team, but the teenage winger is already showcasing he can cut it in the Premier League.
