Liverpool are keen to sign Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise as a replacement for Mohamed Salah, who is under contract until 2027.
Liverpool are planning for life after Salah already, with the Saudi Pro League showing interest in the player.
The MLS is a potential destination for the 33-year-old as well, with it looking more and more likely that a summer exit will happen.
While he’s not been at his best on the goal and assist fronts this season, losing a player of Salah’s quality would still be a big blow.
However, Liverpool have replacements in mind for the ageing winger, one of whom is former Crystal Palace man Michael Olise.

Liverpool target Michael Olise leads Champions League in completed dribbles
Olise was linked to Liverpool last summer, and a fresh report this week has now claimed that the Reds’ recruitment team view him as ‘ideal Salah heir’.
Currently playing alongside Luis Diaz and Harry Kane at Bayern Munich, the 24-year-old has an impressive 13 goals and 25 assists across all competitions so far this term.
Olise has been especially impressive in the Champions League, where he now leads the competition in one statistic.
No player has completed more successful dribbles (27) than the Frenchman in the Champions League across 2025/26 so far.

Should Liverpool rethink selling him this summer?
How much would Michael Olise cost Liverpool
Olise is currently under contract in Germany until 2029 and it’s hard to see Bayern wanting to part ways with the winger.
Should he move, Transfermarkt have given him a value of €130m
However, there have been some suggestions from reports this week that the player could actually demand a fee of €200m.
That would, of course, surpass the record transfer fee of £125m that Liverpool paid to sign Alexander Isak in the summer from Newcastle United.
