Liverpool will make a second trip to London in the space of a week as they face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Thursday.
The Reds have a mixed recent record in the capital, and continued that with a dispiriting 2-2 draw with Fulham on Sunday.
The result leaves Liverpool 14 points behind Arsenal going into the match, with Arne Slot’s team well and truly out of the title race already.
Who was Liverpool’s best player during the disappointing draw at Fulham?
While many supporters will be fearing a visit to the Premier League leaders, Liverpool have already beaten Mikel Arteta’s team this season and have proven a match for them many times before.
Performances such as the one at Fulham confirm that Liverpool are nowhere near their best right now, but that has not stopped Curtis Jones from sending a rallying cry ahead of Thursday’s game.
Liverpool are going to Arsenal to win
Given the form of the two teams, most football fans will have this down as an Arsenal win.
But while they are very unlikely to now win the title themselves, Liverpool are still champions, and they should go to the Emirates and show why.

Speaking to LFCTV after the draw against Fulham, Jones insisted that this is exactly what he and his teammates plan to do.
“It’s a big one but all games are big,” said the Scouser. “And I’ve said already, especially now when we need all our points.
“Arsenal is a huge, huge game; they are on a great run and obviously they are top of the league. Of course, the first game they played against us, we obviously won, so they’ll be trying to get revenge on us. We’re going there with our heads high and we’ll go and try to win.”

Do Liverpool have any chance of upsetting Arsenal?
Liverpool fans are right to be worried about Thursday’s game, and although it is nice to hear Jones speak so bullishly about the fixture, few will be predicting anything but a loss.
Arsenal are brilliantly efficient at the moment and after Man City drew with Chelsea on Sunday they have moved six points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

Perhaps beginning to feel like this could finally be their year, the Gunners will be determined to keep their foot on the pedal and swat Liverpool aside.
There is a chance that the pressure of the occasion gets to them a little, and Liverpool must make sure they play on that. Keeping solid and tight for the opening hour of the game is absolutely essential.
If they can stay in the game until the final third, the Reds will have a chance to nick something. But even if they do, it will not change the reality of the title situation. As they face the team hoping to steal their crown, maybe the best Liverpool can hope for is to put up a fight and to remind Arsenal – and themselves – of why they are champions.
