Things are starting to pick up for Liverpool, but there is one thing that they have not managed to stop.
2025 has ended well for the Reds after a bit of a shaky start, with fans hoping that they can take their good run of form into the new year with them.
However, there are some things that they will want to leave behind, as if not, they stand no chance of winning a trophy.

The only way that will happen, though, is if there is a key change behind the scenes, and despite it being harsh, it might be needed, at least that is what Liverpool fans are saying.
Liverpool fans want a new set piece coach
Set pieces are a key part of football, but there is an even bigger onus on them this season as teams try to play more direct.
Liverpool, however, seem to be falling behind in this department and have conceded 12 goals from set pieces this season, a tally that only looks like it will increase.
Aaron Briggs is the man who will get the blame too as the set piece coach, and despite only moving into this role this season, fans want a change.
One supporter wrote: “Oh look another set piece goal conceded. Has there ever been a more useless appointment than Aaron Briggs?”
A second said: “That Aaron Briggs, how’s he still got a job?” while a third said: “Aaron Briggs still has a job … Part 762”
Another supporter wrote: “Before the arsenal game, find a great set piece coach and get rid of Aaron Briggs.”
A fifth said: “He has been a disastrous appointment. Time for him to go.” while another said: “Just realised we go to the Emirates in a couple of weeks and have to defend Arsenal set pieces…”
A seventh supporter said: “Putting Macca on set pieces is enough reason to sack Aaron Briggs,” although at least one fan backed him, saying: “Do you think Aaron Briggs is the reason Konate doesn’t jump?”

Aaron Briggs is not fully to blame for Liverpool’s set piece issues
Although set pieces are quite literally his sole job, like the last fan pointed out, he cannot control errors from individual players.
Granted, he could set the side up better to defend them, but if players are being out-jumped when they should not be, that is on them.
The biggest worry will be from counter-attacks for Liverpool’s own set pieces as that is simply inexcusable, with there now a worry every time they get one.
Briggs is certainly running out of time to solve the issue, though, and with fans already starting to turn on him, he needs to get it right and fast.
