Mohamed Salah’s form has declined in 2025/26, and he recently lost his place in the Liverpool eleven.

The 33-year-old was handed a two-year contract extension at Anfield earlier this year after speculation over his future.

The Saudi Pro League was interested in Salah over the summer, but a move did not come to pass.

However, his form has since declined, and he was recently left on the bench by Arne Slot in a 2-0 win over West Ham.

Following the snub, Fabrizio Romano gave an update on how Liverpool feel about the winger’s future.

It then emerged that despite recent struggles, Salah remains on the radar of Saudi Pro League clubs, with Al Hilal and Al-Qadsiah mooted as possible destinations.

In terms of a potential price tag, no fee has been mentioned this week, but the BBC reported in September that Liverpool turned down an offer worth in excess of £100m for the Egyptian.

If he moves for a similar fee at some point in 2026, it could see Salah become the most expensive transfer in Saudi Pro League history.
