Chris Eubank Jr has decided whether Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah would beat Manchester City striker Erling Haaland in a boxing match.

Eubank Jr. is gearing up for a rematch against Conor Benn, which will take place on Saturday, November 15.

This weekend, meanwhile, Manchester City and Liverpool clash at the Etihad Stadium in a tie that may well have huge ramifications on the Premier League title race.

City are just ahead of the Reds before kick-off, while Arsenal’s gap at the summit is already sizeable.

Who would win an Erling Haaland vs Mohamed Salah boxing match

Prior to his meeting with Benn, Eubank Jr. has been filming with DAZN and was asked to name which footballers would make the best boxers.

He said that Cristiano Ronaldo would beat Wayne Rooney in a boxing match.

Eubank Jr. then claimed Haaland’s age and size would see him best Ronaldo in the ring.

Next up in the game of winner stays on, the Man City centre-forward was pitted against Salah, with the Norwegian star given the nod over the Liverpool winger.

Eubank Jr. then chose Haaland over several more footballers, including Lionel Messi and Neymar.

What Mohamed Salah has said about Erling Haaland

Salah’s form has been mixed during 2025/26, but he’s still got five goals in all competitions.

That pales in comparison to Haaland, however, who is the Premier League’s leading goalscorer ahead of Man City hosting Liverpool.

Both players are expected to have an impact on the fixture, given how crucial they have been for their respective clubs in recent years.

Speaking back in February, as per Fabrizio Romano, Salah showed his respect for Haaland.

He said: “I respect Haaland a lot… he’s a striker, so his life is a bit easier.

“For a winger honestly to have such a record is quite difficult. Every winger can confirm that. So, I see it differently between us, because he’s a striker and I’m a winger.”
