Liverpool’s Owen Beck is set to return to action for Derby County in the near future.
Beck joined the Rams on loan during the summer transfer window, but since he’s endured two massive hamstring injuries over the last couple of years, he’s yet to make an appearance for them.
Several teams were after the 23-year-old in the summer, with Ryan Reynolds’ Wrexham even missing out on signing Beck.

He spent last season on loan with Blackburn Rovers, and although he only made 25 appearances, he had a more than decent impact.
This season will likely be make or break for the Scotsman, with John Eustace now providing an update on when fans can expect him to return to the pitch.
Owen Beck is set to get some gametime for Derby next week
It’s been a long road to recovery for Beck, but now that he’s finally ready to come back, Liverpool could end up having a bit of a dilemma on their hands in the summer.
The left-back has bags of potential, with Slot even considering keeping him around in the summer with the future of Kostas Tsimikas and Andy Robertson in the air.
In the end, he exited Anfield, and now, Derby boss John Eustace has shared when fans can expect to see Beck on the pitch.
“We’re hoping to give him a bit of game time next week at some point, and we will take it from there,” he said in his press conference.
“It is important that we don’t rush him. He has had a couple of really serious hamstring injuries.
“And I know, when Owen is back, he is going to be a really top performer for the team and a really important part of the squad.
“So, it’s important that we don’t rush him, but we do want Owen to come back fully confident and I’m sure he will be.”
Owen Beck must take this opportunity with both hands if he wants a future at Liverpool
Although Beck has spent the last few seasons out on loan, it’s clear that Liverpool think he has a bright future ahead of him.
The full-back is full of ability and, to be honest, he didn’t look out of place in the Championship at all last season.
Indeed, there are going to be times when questions are asked, but with Robertson’s contract expiring and Tsimikas’ future still up in the air, there has quite literally never been a better time for him to prove his worth.

Beck is 23 years old now, and unless he can prove that he has what it takes to become a Liverpool player this term, his hopes will be as good as over.
This would be far from ideal for the youngster, especially after all the work he’s done to get this far.
