Liverpool have had many players come through their ranks over the years.
At the moment, the likes of Curtis Jones are becoming regular features in Arne Slot’s plans, with others such as Jarell Quansah and Trent Alexander-Arnold now exploring pastures new.
Of course, several other Premier League clubs have also got many of their youth players among their ranks, but with the history that Liverpool have, it’s clear that Anfield is the place to be.

And, while not all of the Reds’ youth players end up being used by Liverpool, there’s one at the moment who’s causing quite a stir.
Conor Bradley could end up being Liverpool’s own Gareth Bale
Although Conor Bradley has had a couple of dodgy moments for the Reds over the years, the fact that he’s still around shows how much faith the club have in him.
At the moment, he’s fighting with Jeremie Frimpong for the starting right-back spot in Slot’s team, with neither player performing to their best.
However, while away on international duty with Northern Ireland, Michael O’Neill has chosen to play him as a right winger, and, to be honest, it looked like he thrived.
In fact, O’Neill even dubbed the 22-year-old’s performance “terrific” after what he saw him do.
There were several moments in the game against Slovakia when Bradley was miles above the rest of the players on the pitch.
And, seeing as though both he and Gareth Bale started out as full-backs, it feels like Liverpool could end up having their own version of the Welshman on their hands in the near future.
Conor Bradley’s Northern Ireland performance v Slovakia in numbers
Although Bradley has always been an attacking full-back, seeing him have the freedom to get into the opposition box was a new thing for most Liverpool fans.
By allowing the 22-year-old the freedom to roam up and down the right wing as much as he wanted, he was able to use his pace to get into decent attacking positions and almost set his team up once or twice.
And, as per Sofascore, throughout the game, the Northern Irishman maintained a pass accuracy of 53 per cent and had 93 touches of the ball.
He also completed 41 per cent of the dribbles he attempted and made three interceptions.
Bradley also recovered the ball 11 times and made two tackles.
At the moment, it’s anyone’s guess who Slot is going to start at right-back against Manchester United, but on the face of things, it’s clear that, at the moment, Bradley seems to play much better as a winger than a full back.
