Liverpool have some great young talent at their disposal thanks to their great academy setup.
Arne Slot’s side may have had a £400 million makeover, but they still have some special young players in their youth ranks who are either ready to burst into the first team or are already there.
This season saw the debut of Rio Ngumoha to much fanfare, and his goal against Newcastle United to win the game 3-2 was an exciting moment for fans to look into the future.
Ngumoha is just one player who has been touted for success, with the other being Jayden Danns, who is currently out with an injury.
The striker had featured in games when Jurgen Klopp was manager, most notably in the FA Cup and League Cup, but he is someone that the club and U21s coach Rob Page are very high on.

Ally McCoist believes Jayden Danns should leave Liverpool
Page has spoken about the talent of the English forward in a recent interview, where he claimed that he could be England’s future Harry Kane after seeing his performances.
It was a massive show of respect and faith from his manager, but it had caught the eye of pundits because of how bold the statement was.
Ally McCoist was asked about the question of who could replace Kane in the future, and when shown the interview clip from Page, he was blunt in his assessment.
The Scotsman believes that he can only fulfil that prophecy if he moves away from Anfield because he does not think that he can break into the Liverpool first team, given the other attacking talent.
Speaking on talkSPORT, McCoist explained: “(At Liverpool) No chance. If he moves, he has got a chance. I take Rob’s point, and I don’t mean to shoot him down in flames, and I’m not shooting him down in flames because you’re obviously a really talented kid. Absolutely. That has impressed Rob Page, and Rob’s maybe thinking longer term, right? There ain’t no way that kid’s breaking in and playing regularly in Liverpool’s first team, really.
“Unless something remarkable happens. You never say never, but as I said, we saw the other lad (Rio Ngumoha) come in and scored important goals against Newcastle, and he looks the real deal. But even he will not play on a regular basis.
“Jayden Danns, who Rob obviously really thinks he is going places if he is going to be next England No. 9 in the immediate future, he won’t be doing it at Liverpool.”
Jayden Danns should remain at Liverpool for as long as possible
Given the state of the club’s forward line, he may be correct in his assessment, and it is more likely than not that he would be open to leaving Merseyside if the minutes were not available.
The club have shown that with a new long-term deal signed this year, there is clearly a future for him at the club.
It is tricky to see where he fits in currently, but because of his injury and only being 19 years old, it is not something that is an immediate priority.
But once he has recovered and played regularly in cup games and maybe even a Premier League appearance or two, then plans should be put in place for his future.
