Liverpool have had the perfect start to their Premier League season this term.
The Reds have won all five of their opening games, with their next clash coming against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Both clubs are heading into the game as the only unbeaten teams in the top flight, with Arne Slot’s men likely looking to get revenge on the Eagles after their Community Shield final defeat.
One of the Reds’ main issues in the summer was the lack of depth among their first-team squad.

Of course, players have now been brought in, but with Giovanni Leoni ruled out with an ACL injury, Slot only has three senior options to choose from at centre-back, with Roy Keane believing that this could cost them the Premier League title.
Roy Keane believes one more injured centre-back could cost Liverpool the Premier League title
At the moment, it feels like Liverpool are going to run away with the title.
The fact that they have been nowhere near their best this season but have still won all but one of their games across all competitions shows you how good they actually are.
And, all this has happened without players such as Alexander Isak being at full fitness.
However, on the Stick to Football Podcast, Keane gave his thoughts on Liverpool’s title chances and what could end up making them not retain it.
“I’d like to go with Liverpool now, but I still think if Liverpool get one or two injured centre halves, there could still be a dip for Liverpool, no doubt about it,” he said.
Liverpool must make sure that nobody else gets injured
During Jurgen Klopp’s era, one of the main things that held the club back was the number of injuries they suffered.
Of course, the dominance of Manchester City didn’t help things much either, but when two or three members of your first-team squad end up injured, it’s far from ideal.

At the moment, Leoni is the only player who’s been ruled out for an extended period, but as Keane mentioned, if another centre-back is ruled out or someone such as Mohamed Salah gets a long-term injury, things could turn sour overnight.
At the moment, Slot’s men look well on course to retain the Premier League title and potentially even the Champions League, but for now, it’s anyone’s guess what could happen.
