Liverpool have been one of the most dominant teams in the Premier League this season.
The Reds have won all five of their top-flight games thus far as they’re currently sitting on top of the Premier League table.
Several members of Liverpool’s first-team squad have been in impressive form this term as they look to retain the Premier League title.
However, Mohamed Salah has started the season somewhat slowly, with the likes of Hugo Ekitike outperforming the Egyptian King.

Despite this, Tim Sherwood has shared how happy he is that Salah chose to extend his stay at Anfield rather than leaving last summer.
Tim Sherwood is “very pleased” that Mohamed Salah chose to stay at Liverpool this season
As mentioned, Salah is one of Liverpool’s best players.
Last term, the winger chose to extend his stay at Liverpool, much to the delight of fans.
Indeed, Virgil van Dijk chose to do the same, with Trent Alexander-Arnold the only one leaving upon the expiry of his contract.
And, ahead of the Ballon d’Or ceremony on Monday, Sherwood shared his thoughts on Salah and why he’s happy that he chose to stay at Liverpool this season.
“He’s [Salah] an amazing player,” he said live on Sky Sports.
“[His] consistency, level of performance and numbers what he churns in year in and year out, his assists, his goals, it’s just a pleasure to have him in the Premier League.
“He seems like such a wonderful boy as well, great lad, [I was] sort of so pleased when he decided to stay at Liverpool for a couple more years.“
Mohamed Salah has plenty of time to become Liverpool’s main man again this season
Salah may have contributed to a few goals this season, but it still feels like he’s miles off the pace compared to his form in previous seasons.
The Egyptian’s goal contributions are often untouchable by his Liverpool teammates, with the attacker managing to get over 50 last season alone.
Indeed, players of a higher quality, such as Alexander Isak and Ekitike, have been brought in this term, so that could have something to do with it, but since Liverpool are likely paying Salah around £400,000 per week, they’ll be expecting him to be their best-performing player.
Of course, it’s still early days and there’s plenty of time for things to change, but as things stand, it feels like a lot more could come from the former Roma man.
