Liverpool are set to take on Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday.
Going into the game, the Reds are once again the favourites to come out on top.
At the moment, the Anfield outfit have nine points to their name as they sit at the top of the Premier League table.
Although the Champions League is likely to be Arne Slot’s main priority this season, the fact that Liverpool could also retain the top flight title is a rather exciting prospect.

Indeed, many will expect Liverpool to have too much quality for Burnley to handle, but for Scott Parker, there’s another reason why he might not be too keen to play against the Reds on Sunday.
Scott Parker’s Bournemouth lost 9-0 last time he played against Liverpool
Over the last few years, Parker has bounced around clubs like there’s no tomorrow.
He often puts in a more than solid shift in the Championship, but when it comes to the Premier League, he can’t seem to get things to click.
In fact, he even tried his luck outside of England with Club Brugge and, in the end, that turned out worse than his stints in England.
It’s been a while since Liverpool played against Parker, but the last time they did will certainly bring back some happy memories for the Reds’ fanbase.
That’s because, as per BBC Sport, the last time Parker played against Liverpool was when his Bournemouth side were beaten 9-0 by Jurgen Klopp’s men.
The game itself is one that Liverpool fans will remember fondly, but it could end up causing some dread within Parker.

Who scored for Liverpool when they beat Bournemouth 9-0
Although Liverpool have changed managers since the last time they faced Parker, a lot of their first-team squad has stayed the same.
Indeed, there was a massive clear-out during the summer transfer window, but players such as Alisson, Virgil van Dijk, and Mohamed Salah are all still knocking around Anfield.
Liverpool’s 9-0 win over Bournemouth was the joint-biggest victory in Premier League history, which shows how dominant the Anfield outfit really were under Klopp.
And, during that game, Luis Diaz bagged two goals, as did Roberto Firmino.
Harvey Elliott, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk and Fabio Carvalho all scored one each, and to take it up to nine, Chris Mepham scored an own goal.
27 August 2022 will forever be remembered as one of the best moments during Klopp’s era, and if a result anywhere near that magnitude comes to fruition again, serious questions will need to be asked.
