Liverpool are hoping to welcome another big signing this summer and are ready to make a move.
The Reds have had a transfer window to remember and for the fans, the best might still be yet to come.
They have already broken the British transfer record once this summer and Liverpool are ready to break it again for Alexander Isak if Newcastle allow him to leave.
The Magpies are, of course, reluctant to let this happen, but with the Swede currently in Spain rather than on their pre-season tour, he appears to be trying to force a move through.
There are a lot of factors that will affect a deal of this magnitude, but the player himself, as well as his representatives, appear to be confident that a deal will happen soon.

Alexander Isak is confident that a deal with Liverpool will be reached
Earlier in the summer, Liverpool looked set to get either Hugo Ekitike or Isak, rather than both joining the club.
However, fast forward a week or so and there is a genuine possibility that the Reds could have two new strikers through the door in one window, both of high quality too.
Although there is still a lot to sort out, journalist Florian Plettenberg has reported that Isak’s camp are confident about the situation and that the striker is hopeful that a deal will be reached.

He also states that a verbal agreement has been made over a contract, which will expire in 2031, suggesting that everything is moving in the right direction.
It is clear that Isak wants Liverpool and Liverpool want Isak, all that is needed now is for Newcastle to give them the green light and they will table a record-breaking offer for their star man.
Alexander Isak to Liverpool is dependent on Benjamin Sesko to Newcastle
Of course, losing a player of Isak’s quality will need replacing, although no matter who they get, it will be near-impossible to find someone who would be considered an upgrade.
RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko appears to be Newcastle’s top target, and the Magpies already presented their project to the striker last week.
However, Manchester United also want to sign the Slovenian and could hijack a deal, something Newcastle fans will not want to hear given the summer they have had already.
That being said, if Sesko opts for a move to Old Trafford instead, Isak to Liverpool might be hit with a delay, and if they cannot find a suitable replacement at all, it is highly unlikely they will sell their star striker at all.
