Liverpool have a decision to make in the transfer market after choosing to sell Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich.
The Reds had been reluctant to let Diaz go, but with the player keen to leave and Bayern willing to pay £65.5m to get him, a deal has been done.
Given his importance within the Liverpool squad last season, the Reds will likely need to replace Diaz.
Liverpool are expected to bid for Alexander Isak on the back of selling the Colombian, but perhaps they need a more natural replacement at left wing as well.
There are plenty of options on the market, as Liverpool aim to completely reshape their forward line.
One of them is Rodrygo Goes of Real Madrid, who is potentially set to leave the Spanish capital this summer. But while TeamTALK claim that Rodrygo tops Liverpool’s shortlist, they also report that the Reds have their eyes on two other options.

Liverpool could move to sign Antonio Nusa
Any move to sign Rodrygo is reportedly being made more difficult by Real’s asking price for the Brazilian.
The Spanish behemoths are said to be looking for a minimum of £78m in order to let him leave this summer.
As a result, TeamTALK report that Liverpool have identified two alternatives to replace Diaz on the left wing.
The first is Malick Fofana of Lyon, who is reportedly available for around £43m. However, there are said to be question marks over whether Liverpool will wish to pay so much for the 20-year-old.

Finally, Liverpool are also claimed to be weighing up a move for RB Leipzig winger Antonio Nusa. Nusa will reportedly become an active target if signing either Rodrygo or Fofana proves too difficult.
It’s claimed that just £31m could be enough to prise the Norwegian away from Leipzig.
Erling Haaland is a big fan of Nusa
Liverpool were linked with Nusa before he made the move to Leipzig from Club Brugge last summer.
| Season | Club | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| 2021/22 | Club Brugge | 4 | 1 | 0 |
| 2022/23 | Club Brugge | 32 | 2 | 1 |
| 2023/24 | Club Brugge | 46 | 4 | 3 |
| 2024/25 | Club Brugge | 4 | 0 | 1 |
| 2024/25 | RB Leipzig | 36 | 5 | 6 |
The 20-year-old had a relatively solid campaign despite the Red Bull club finishing seventh in the Bundesliga, scoring five goals and laying on six assists.
Nusa has also become a prominent player for Norway, scoring and assisting in their surprise 3-0 win over Italy in June.
At international level, Nusa of course plays with Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland, who has praised the youngster’s talent and potential.
“He’s exceptional,” Haaland said in October 2024. “We need to be careful not to put too much pressure on him, even though he’s incredibly talented. His continued development is what matters most.”
