Liverpool have once again had a busy day in the summer transfer window with plenty of rumours cropping up.

While their move for Hugo Ekitike hasn’t taken any massive steps forward just yet, there are no signs to show that the deal won’t go through.

Harvey Elliott and Luis Diaz are the ones who have found themselves the talk of the town, with their futures once again being thrown in the air.

So, without any further ado, here, Rousing the Kop have collected three of the biggest transfer stories to have emerged from Anfield on Friday, 18 July.

One of the main areas that Liverpool now need to be looking at strengthening is their centre-back.

The Reds have added plenty of new faces to their ranks, but they still only have three natural centre-backs among their first-team squad.

And, as per a report from La Gazzetta Dello Sport, it seems like Inter Milan are now worried that Liverpool will beat them to the transfer of Giovanni Leoni.

The towering 18-year-old has been on the Reds’ radar for some time now, and with Parma only demanding £35million for the youngster, it’s a fee that Arne Slot could match.

Liverpool want around £70million for the transfer of Luis Diaz

As mentioned, Diaz has once again found himself at the centre of attention at Liverpool.

The attacker is now in the final two years of his deal with the Anfield outfit, and unless a new agreement is reached, it seems like he could be on his way out.

However, as per a new report from Christian Falk, it seems like Liverpool would only require a bid in the region of £70million to start negotiations.

The Colombia international has made it abundantly clear that he wants to leave Anfield this season, and if Bayern can meet the Reds’ expectations, it’s hard to see why they’d stand in the way of a move.

Harvey Elliott and Tyler Morton would cost West Ham United £55m to buy this summer

Since Liverpool have now spent close to £200million on new arrivals this summer, their focus is going to have to turn towards selling some of their talent.

Both Jarell Quansah and Caomhin Kelleher have already been sold on for a combined fee of around £50million, and while that will have helped, they still need a lot more.

With this in mind, several first-team players from Slot’s squad have already been linked with an exit, but now, Liverpool’s price tag for the sales of Elliott and Tyler Morton have been revealed.

That is, according to a report from The Daily Mail, who share that £55million would be the fee required for West Ham to prise Elliott and Morton away this summer.

Of course, only time will tell whether these rumours will come true, but on the face of things, £55million seems like a fair deal for everyone involved.
