Liverpool have already undergone a massive amount of changes in the 2025-26 summer transfer window.
Arne Slot somehow managed to win the Premier League title during his first season in charge of the club, and although the Reds were one of the most dominant sides in the league, that hasn’t stopped them from adding even more firepower to their ranks.
The likes of Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz have been brought in from Bayer Leverkusen, with both expected to have a positive effect on the Reds’ chances of retaining the title.
However, with all of these new faces being brought in by the Dutchman, some players will have to leave, especially if Liverpool want to bring anyone else in.

Several of Liverpool’s first-team squad have been linked with a move away from Merseyside; however, one seems to have already confirmed where his future lies.
Wataru Endo has reiterated that his future remains with Liverpool
Over the last few weeks, several members of Liverpool’s squad have been linked with moves away.
Nat Phillips and Caoimhin Kelleher have already been shown the exit door, with Jarell Quansah seemingly not too far behind them.
Wataru Endo is another player who many thought would leave this summer, but it seems like Slot’s “unsung” hero is set to stay at Anfield for at least the next season.
“[When] I came to Liverpool, I really wanted to achieve [the] Premier League title. I feel like this is why I play football,” Endo said to Liverpool’s official website.
“I hope this is just the beginning to achieve the titles. Because after I came here, I won the Carabao Cup [in the] first season and the Premier League [in the] second season. So, I just want to keep continuing to win titles with the fans.
“It means a lot to me, but I still feel like we can achieve something more with the staff and the team and for the fans.”

Three players Liverpool are likely to move on this summer
With the number of new faces that have already been brought into Anfield, there’s bound to be plenty of exits over the next couple of months.
The first of the three who’s likely to exit Anfield this summer is Darwin Nunez. The striker has long been linked with an exit, and with Napoli now making him their priority target, it’s hard to see a future for him in Merseyside.
Luis Diaz is the next one with Barcelona potentially about to re-join the race for the Colombia international.
The former Porto man has two years left on his current deal at Anfield, and unless he’s sold this season, Liverpool will get nowhere near as much as what he is worth if his sale is sanctioned.

Lastly, Kostas Tsimikas is now also very likely to leave after Andy Robertson’s move to Atletico Madrid broke down.
The Reds have already brought Milos Kerkez in, and unless they can find a way to play 2 left-backs in their starting XI, then the Greek Scouser will have to be sold.
Indeed, there’s plenty of time left in the transfer window for moves to occur, but at the moment, it’s anyone’s guess what the Reds’ team could look like on the opening day of the 2025-26 Premier League season.
