Liverpool have plenty of quality options but it is the versatility of many of them that helps the team tick.
Reds fans may have to wait a little while to see their favourite players wear the Liverpool shirt again, but they can see them in action for their respective countries.
Playing for the final time before their short rest ahead of a pre-season tour, this is a chance to experiment and take risks without too many consequences.
The international matches allow players to try different styles of football and with different people, something that can highlight just how good a player really is.
This is something Thomas Tuchel did during his first match in charge of England after going very rogue with his lineup, although Liverpool’s Curtis Jones was one player who may have benefitted from his approach.

Liverpool fans stunned by Curtis Jones’ right-back performance
With Trent Alexander-Arnold and Reece James both in the squad, many would expect the right-back position to be fought out between the two of them.
However, despite both being fully-fit, Tuchel decided to play Jones there instead, a move that saw Liverpool fans stunned after a rather impressive display.
“Curtis Jones masterclass at RB, what am I seeing!?” is what one fan wrote who was in awe of his performance. “I know it’s just Andorra but Curtis Jones has been amazing by far the best player on the pitch. Very underrated.” another fan put.
“Is Curtis Jones more talented than Mbappe?” one fan jokingly put. “Curtis Jones more than holds his own in this England side,” a fourth fan added.
“Tuchel is cooking, look at Curtis Jones” another fan put. “Curtis Jones you have changed my life,” another simply wrote.
One fan even hinted that he is too good not to play regularly, saying: “Curtis Jones needs to be starting week in, week out at a Prem club man, far too good to be a rotation option.”
Another fan took a swipe at Alexander-Arnold, adding: “Curtis Jones is the best Scouse-born right back that England has ever produced.”
One last fan simply put: “Best player on the pitch at right-back. Curtis Jones. The scouser in the team.”
Does Curtis Jones have a future at Liverpool?
Although his future has never been in much doubt, many would not blame Jones if he were to explore other options in search of regular minutes.
Despite featuring in most Liverpool games this season, the majority of these came from off the bench, a statistic that may only grow next season with the arrival of new talent.
Florian Wirtz joining Liverpool will only reduce his minutes further, and he faces an uphill battle trying to displace Ryan Gravenberch or Alexis Mac Allister for their spots.
An impressive performance at right-back shows that he is capable of playing elsewhere, but with Jeremie Frimpong arriving to compete with Conor Bradley, it seems unlikely he will get a chance to prove himself there either.
It would be hard for fans to lose their only scouser left in the team, but after another solid performance, Jones has proven once again that he is capable of playing in the Premier League regularly.
