Liverpool did not cover themselves in glory with a disappointing performance against Fulham on Sunday.
The Reds had the chance to go 14 points clear at the top of the Premier League table after seeing Arsenal drop points the day before.
However, Liverpool paid the price for a woeful first-half at Craven Cottage, in which they went into the break 3-1 down. The damage could not be repaired, 3-2 the final result.
Part of the problem for Liverpool was the lack of natural right-back. With Conor Bradley not yet ready to start and Trent Alexander-Arnold still injured, Curtis Jones was asked to go again.
After a struggle of a first-half for Jones, though, Bradley was introduced during the second-half.
The Northern Irishman made a real difference when he came on, grabbing an assist for Luis Diaz. And according to journalist Lewis Steele, Bradley looked rather different on his reintroduction to the first-team.

Conor Bradley back with a bang
Bradley’s injury could not have come at a worse time. It left Arne Slot without a regular right-back at a crucial time.
It also robbed Bradley of the chance to show that he can be Liverpool’s starter if Alexander-Arnold leaves as expected this summer.
Nevertheless, Bradley is set to take over duties from Trent regardless. In the meantime, it looks as though the 21-year-old has been hitting the gym in preparation for his promotion.
Posting on X before the game, Steele posted that Bradley looked ‘bulked up’ while stepping out for the warm-up

“Might be a trick of the light but I reckon Conor Bradley has bulked up a bit recently (in a good way!)” said the journalist.
Liverpool badly need Bradley back
Jones did well against Everton on Wednesday, but this was not the game for Slot to put him in again for.
Fulham have a very threatening left side. Quite why the Liverpool head coach felt Jones was the right option only he will know.
Nevertheless, there was not a great deal more he could really have done.
What it did show was just how much better Liverpool are when they have an orthodox right-back on the pitch. Bradley made a huge difference and questions have to be asked why he did not come on immediately at half-time.
The Northern Ireland international could do with beefing up a little in fairness, and he showed on Sunday that if he can add a little more physicality to his game, he’s pretty much got it all.
