Everything Arne Slot has touched so far at Liverpool has turned to gold this season.
The Dutchman has won 24 of his 28 games across all competitions for the Reds and has spearheaded them to the top of the Premier League and UEFA Champions League standings.
In terms of player development, a handful of them have improved, but Slot deserves major credit for the way Ryan Gravenberch has come along this season.
And Jamie Carragher has made a blunt claim on what he thought of the Dutch international last season.
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher makes honest Ryan Gravenberch claim

Liverpool went through a bit of a midfield rebuild last summer as the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Naby Keita, Jordan Henderson, James Milner and Fabinho were moved on.
In response, Jurgen Klopp and interim sporting director Jorg Schmadtke roped in Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endo and Ryan Gravenberch.
And while the other three made huge impacts and endeared themselves to the Anfield faithful, Gravenberch blew hot and hold after his £34m move from Bayern Munich.
While Carragher admitted that the Dutchman has been a ‘revelation’ this season, he didn’t pull any punches with his assessment of the midfielder’s form under Klopp.
“I think he’s been the surprise of the season, in a really good way,” said Carragher on Sky.
“When he came in last season, I saw him as a number eight or an attacking midfielder. He was a little bit of nothing, if I’m being totally honest.
“To think he’s now become one of the most disciplined midfield players in the Premier League right now – playing a vital role in protecting the back four – I think he’s been an absolute revelation this season.”
What has changed for Gravenberch?
After Martin Zubimendi rejected a move to Anfield, Slot opted against pursuing alternatives, instead deciding to use Gravenberch as a number six.
And his decision has already proved to be a masterstroke as the Dutchman looks more comfortable playing just in front of the backline.
Micheal Owen feels Gravenberch has been the best player in the Premier League this season, which goes to show just how much can change in a matter of months.
His position has been altered slightly, but Slot’s decision to trust him to play such an important role in the starting XI has clearly been a spring in his step. And long may it continue!
