After their win against Southampton in the Carabao Cup, Slot’s side became the first Liverpool team since Roy Evans’ side in 1996 to go 20 games unbeaten in a single season, which is a staggering record that shows just how good they’ve been under Slot.
The Reds didn’t even manage to achieve this feat under Jurgen Klopp, so Slot clearly seems to have a magic formula and has made his teams notoriously hard to break down.
