The January transfer window is just under two weeks away from opening, and Liverpool could be one busy side in the market.

Arne Slot’s side are believed to be eyeing up at least four positions for Liverpool heading into 2025, with key players like Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohamed Salah potentially on the way out if their contract situations are not resolved.

One player Liverpool have been linked with is Real Valladolid winger Raul Moro, with the former FC Barcelona wonderkid causing quite a stir in La Liga this season with his form for the Pucela despite their 19th-place standing.

And Liverpool could now sign Moro at a bargain price going into January.

Valladolid willing to sell Liverpool target Raul Moro for just £8m

According to Sport, Valladolid are open to selling Moro for as little as €10m (£8m) in January, with Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham all interested in signing the 21-year-old attacker next month.

Although Moro has managed just three goals and one assists in 13 games for Valladolid, the La Liga winger has shown quality throughout the season to suggest that he could become a top player one day in the future.

And for Liverpool, signing an attacker who could go on to become a world-beater for just £8m might be too good an offer to turn down, especially with Premier League rivals like City and Tottenham also interested in Moro.

Indeed, although an attacker is the last thing Liverpool need in January, a prospect for the future in Moro could be worth the investment, even more so with Valladolid demanding just £8m for their star attacker.

Liverpool would be crazy to give up on Moro chase now

Moro has impressed for a Valladolid side that looked destined for relegation the second the La Liga season started, and for Liverpool, they would be crazy to give up on the chase for the winger at this stage.

At 21 and a graduate of Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy, Moro could be well-suited at Liverpool for years to come if an agreement can be reached with Valladolid for the winger in the January transfer window.

And at £8m, Liverpool will find it hard to secure a better deal than that in next month’s market, with the Reds well within their right to move for Moro with City and Tottenham also interested in the winger.
