Liverpool dropped points in the Premier League title race with a 3-3 draw against Newcastle United, allowing Arsenal to capitalise.
The Gunners swept aside Manchester United 2-0, giving Ruben Amorin his first defeat in English football and closing the gap on Liverpool in the standings to seven points, with Chelsea also winning last night against Southampton.

With Declan Rice pleased to have seen Liverpool drop points against Newcastle, the Reds will be eager to return to winning ways on the weekend against Everton, with this month shaping up to be a huge one in the Premier League title race.
And Ian Wright has now shared what Liverpool do so well compared to Arsenal after watching last night’s games.

Wright praises Liverpool’s ability to score goals from nowhere
Speaking on the Overlap, the pundit noted that Arsenal rely too heavily on set-pieces to score the majority of their goals, whereas Liverpool have developed an uncanny ability under Arne Slot to find the back of the net virtually from nowhere.
Mohamed Salah scored a brace last night for Liverpool with the winger also assisting Curtis Jones, three goals that the majority of supporters would agree came out of moments of pure magic from the Anfield side.
And for Wright, this ability Liverpool possess is unlike anything Arsenal can currently do with their current options, with the Reds having the forward players to create a goal out of nothing whilst playing in bad form.
Wright said when asked about the different between Arsenal and Liverpool: “They can just score though, you saw that. I know that they can concede, but with Salah, Gakpo, Diaz, they can score, whereas we have to rely on set-pieces. At some stage people are going to work us out and stop us, but Liverpool just know how to score.”

Liverpool know their attacking luck could run out soon
Liverpool have been somewhat lucky this year when it comes to their attacking output, with the genius of Salah bailing the Reds out on numerous occasions this season with the winger arguably the best player in the world currently.
And with the Reds needing the Egyptian to once again provide the goods last night against Newcastle, Liverpool are aware that they can’t keep relying on Salah to dig them out of trouble when the going gets tough.
Indeed, Liverpool’s attacking luck could run out soon with games coming thick and fast this December, and the Reds know that they will need to get more from the likes of Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo if they’re to flourish.
