Liverpool supporters continue to watch on in the hope that the club are doing everything they can to secure three of their star players.
While the Reds have been phenomenal this season, there remains a big worry that they could lose Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold to free transfers.
As well as the captain and his vice, though, Liverpool fans also have the added worry of what’s going on with Mohamed Salah.
Salah has not been shy in publicly claiming that the Liverpool owners are yet to offer him any kind of contract to stay at Anfield beyond the end of the season.
As a result, rumours have begun to appear that Salah has been talking to PSG about a potential move to France.
With some reports also claiming the Egyptian would accept a simple one-year extension with Liverpool, journalist Graeme Bailey has shared what’s really going on.

Liverpool surprised by Mohamed Salah suggestions
Liverpool and Salah are currently engaged in a game of high-stakes poker. It will be fascinating to see who blinks first.
One of the stranger claims in regards to the standoff came from The Athletic on Monday.
They reported that Salah would be keen to extend his contract with Liverpool by only one year if needs be.
However, speaking exclusively to Rousing The Kop, transfer expert Bailey insists that insiders at Anfield were surprised by these suggestions.
“That was news to people I’ve been speaking to who are close to Liverpool,” says the reporter.
“If Salah was willing to take a one year deal I think it would have been done in the summer to be honest.”
No Salah talks with PSG
As well as rubbishing claims that a one-year deal is likely to be an option for Salah, Bailey also dismissed rumours of Salah being engaged in talks with PSG.
“There’s been no talks between PSG and Salah,” he says.
“His camp are obviously aware there might be something there but there are no offers, no agreement.
“I believe there was a little bit of mischief making somewhere along the line.”
All these kinds of games being played out in public will not help the nervousness of supporters towards what the eventual outcome will be. We’ll just have to sit tight and wait for all parties to come to a conclusion.
