The injury problems are racking up for Liverpool ahead of a busy period in the season.
Arne Slot is still truly yet to have a full group of players available having seen a handful of them consistently missing all campaign long.
Heading into the festive calendar, Liverpool could really do with having a full squad to pick from.
However, defensive injuries to Kostas Tsimikas, Conor Bradley and Ibrahima Konate have hit the Reds at exactly the wrong time.
Nevertheless, there could still be some good news to go around. New claims have suggested that Konate’s injury is not as bad as first feared, while the returns of Alisson Becker, Diogo Jota and Federico Chiesa appear imminent.
Bradley is likely to miss until the New Year, though, meaning Liverpool could really do with their other reserve full-back, Tsimikas, being back sooner. Thankfully, it sounds like they might be in luck.

Kostas Tsimikas set for December return
Although he has spent near enough all of his four-year Liverpool career to date as a back-up, Tsimikas had been enjoying a good run under Slot.
Amidst a dip in form for Andy Robertson, the 28-year-old had emerged as a potential first-choice for the Reds.
Tsimikas looked set for another chance in the team after the November international break, but an untimely injury put paid to that.
Speaking to Anfield Agenda, however, journalist David Lynch suggested that the Greek will be back sooner rather than later, despite being seen on crutches at Anfield during Sunday’s win over Man City.

“Tsimikas, I don’t think his is too bad,” Lynch reported.
“From what we’re hearing on that one he’ll maybe miss this week coming up but maybe the other side of that we might see him, which would be fantastic as a rotational option on that side.”
Liverpool could get triple Newcastle injury boost
This is positive news for Tsimikas. It cannot be ignored that Liverpool could really do with him being available for the next two games, but beggars can’t be choosers.
Given that Robertson played high intensity games against Real Madrid and Man City in quick succession, there will be concern about the 30-year-old starting both the Newcastle and Everton games three days apart.

But at this point there is little Liverpool can do otherwise. Robertson is going to have to manage.
Anyway, as Lynch attests, it sounds like Slot is going to have ‘a few boosts’ coming to his Liverpool squad in other areas for this week’s big away double-header.
“There’s a few boosts in the pipeline,” says the reporter. “Alisson and Jota are very, very close. Chiesa could even be back in the squad for the next game. I think those two could be as well. So, you get three players back into your squad, Elliott’s already back, you’re just waiting for those defensive injuries to ease.”
