Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones continued his fantastic form under Arne Slot with a key display in the 4-0 win against Bayer Leverkusen.
Jones impressed with the opening assist at Anfield, where he expertly fed the ball through to Liverpool teammate Luis Diaz.
Colombian ace Diaz finished with aplomb to open the scoring, with the winger going on to score a hat-trick for the Reds.
Diaz was the star man against Bayer Leverkusen, with his fellow attacker Cody Gakpo also getting in on the act.
After the latest round of Champions League fixtures, Liverpool are the only club with a 100% winning record.

They have now beaten Bayer Leverkusen, AC Milan, Bologna and RB Leipzig, with Real Madrid up next at Anfield.
The stadium was in fine voice for the latest tie under the lights, with Jones celebrating the win on social media, writing on Instagram: “Another good night in the Champions League.”

And among those commenting on the post was former Liverpool icon Luis Garcia, who wrote “That pass…” with the raised hands emoji.
Is Curtis Jones evolving under Arne Slot?
Jones was certainly a favourite of Jurgen Klopp, with the midfielder having been utilised by the German 36 times last season.
He may have been fearing a less significant role under Arne Slot this season, particularly after the Dutchman leaned heavily towards compatriot Ryan Gravenberch.
But Jones has battled back from injury to be constantly competing for a regular first-team spot, as opposed to a squad player.

He has one goal and four assists this season after creating Diaz’s opener against Leverkusen, with the latter tally already level with his previous two seasons.

The academy graduate made his Liverpool debut in the FA Cup back in 2019, but really emerged as a senior player in the 2020/21 season.
And given his displays under Slot, plenty more opportunities are set to go his way in the coming months, either from the start or off the bench as the manager continues to rotate.
