Liverpool came from behind to secure three enormous points against Brighton on Saturday.
The Reds were deservedly behind at half-time having failed to get going during the opening 45 minutes.
But Liverpool shored up the midfield in the second-half to put in a dramatically improved showing after the break.
In the end the win was no less than the Reds deserved having ridden the storm and come out the other side.
And as they so often are, Liverpool were indebted to a brilliant moment from the mercurial Mohamed Salah to win them the game.
Having just seen Cody Gakpo’s cross float into the back of the net minutes earlier, Salah unleashed a thunderous effort to win the game for the Reds.

Chris Sutton blown away by Mohamed Salah goal
Salah could – and probably should – have drawn Liverpool level not long before he did find the net.
Put through brilliantly one-on-one with Bart Verbruggen, the Egyptian tried to be too cute and lift the ball over the Dutch goalkeeper.
Just a few minutes later and Salah was anything but cute.
Arriving onto a Curtis Jones pass, the 32-year-old stood up Pervis Esupinan before unleashing a left-footed missile into the top corner.

It was past Verbruggen in a flash and commenting on the goal for BBC Sport, pundit Chris Sutton said that the goal was simply ‘unbelievable’ from Salah.
“This is an unbelievable finish from Mohamed Salah,” raved the former striker. “Curtis Jones plays the ball into him and he gets the run on Pervis Estupinan. Then you just know what’s going to happen next.
“The goal opens up and Salah finds the far top corner. No goalkeeper is saving that.”
Liverpool hold on for enormous win
Salah has so often been the difference for Liverpool and that has continued into this season so far.
And given results elsewhere on Saturday, that could end up being an absolutely enormous goal from the No.11
Liverpool already knew that Arsenal had lost heading into their 3pm kick-off.
But few would have expected Man City’s unbeaten run to end exactly where Arsenal’s did just a couple of weeks ago, and yet they too were beaten by Bournemouth.
As a result, the context around Salah’s goal is that it puts Liverpool back top of the Premier League and means they took full advantage of their two closest rivals dropping points. Massive.
