Liverpool produced yet another fantastic team display under Arne Slot to beat RB Leipzig 1-0 in the Champions League.
Alexis Mac Allister impressed for Liverpool in the narrow victory at the Red Bull Arena, where Darwin Nunez was the hero.
The Uruguay international found the back of the net in the 27th minute of the Champions League clash, turning home Mohamed Salah’s header from close-range.
Liverpool are now joint-top of the league phase after three wins from three, level with Premier League rivals Aston Villa.
Slot now turns his attention to the Premier League, with the Merseyside club making the trip to Arsenal on Sunday.

Virgil van Dijk and Kostas Tsimikas impressed by Cody Gakpo
Chris Sutton says Liverpool are in a title race, although the manager will certainly not be thinking about that at this stage.
At the same time, however, there is very little time to celebrate the win over RB Leipzig, although Cody Gakpo has done exactly that, with the attacker writing on Instagram: “Nights like these are what players dream of.”

Among those commenting on the post were his Anfield teammates Virgil van Dijk and Kostas Tsimikas, with the former posting a heart emoji and the latter posting two fire emojis.
Cody Gakpo and Darwin Nunez impress for Liverpool vs RB Leipzig
Gakpo was once again impressive for Liverpool, with the Netherlands international doing everything but score against RB Leipzig.
He and Nunez stepped up on a night when Mohamed Salah was kept very quiet by the well-drilled German club.
But Slot won’t care too much about which players find the back of the net for his side, as long as they continue to do so.

At the other end of the pitch meanwhile, it was another superb performance, with Caoimhin Kelleher deservedly winning the Player of the Match award.
Slot has seemingly focused heavily on being tight at the back, with that approach emphasised by yet another clean sheet.
Arsenal are, however, likely to pose an even bigger threat than RB Leipzig, particulary with the Gunners playing on home soil.
