Mohamed Salah’s future has been a major talking point for some time, with the Liverpool winger’s contract set to expire next summer.
With Salah continuously linked with a move to Saudi Arabia, there is growing nerves amongst Liverpool supporters that this season really could be the Egyptian’s last on Merseyside, even with the 32-year-old at the top of his game.
Having won everything there is to win at Liverpool, leaving Anfield at the end of this season would be fitting for Salah given all the winger has achieved with the Reds since signing from AS Roma seven years ago.
And Gabriel Agbonlahor claims to know where Salah is heading next summer.

TalkSport pundit claims Salah is heading to Saudi Arabia
Speaking on TalkSport, the former Aston Villa striker revealed that ‘a source’ has told him that Salah is heading to Saudi Arabia, where the Liverpool winger will become the face of football in the country and will be the highest-paid player in the league, and by extension, the world.
Agbonlahor said: “I know Salah’s going. I’ve got a source that told me Salah’s definitely going. Saudi, on a record contract. I’m hearing that he will earn more than Ronaldo, he’ll be the face of the football over there. You can’t turn that down if you’re Mo Salah. He’s done everything at Liverpool hasn’t he?”

Indeed, whether or not Agbonlahor’s sources are right or not is another story entirely, yet the growing feeling amongst those in the know does seem to indicate that Salah will be heading to Saudi next summer.
And given how important Salah is as a figure in the Muslim world, the winger becoming the highest-paid player in Saudi Arabia might become a reality if the transfer does come through, with Liverpool simply unable to compete with the figures the Middle Eastern state are offering.

All signs point to Salah heading to Saudi Arabia in 2025
After the drama of Salah almost heading to Saudi Arabia last summer, it always felt like destiny that the attacker would one day end up heading to the Saudi Pro League one day in the future.
And with Salah’s contract expiring, all signs seem to point towards the Egyptian international moving to Saudi Arabia next year when the Liverpool legend becomes a free-agent in the summer.
Whilst Liverpool could make one final push to keep Salah at the club, a move to Saudi Arabia seems to be in the works behind the scenes, and the Reds could now be too late in trying to keep hold of their star winger for a few more seasons.
