Liverpool were back to winning ways in the Premier League this weekend with the Reds securing a comfortable 3-0 win against AFC Bournemouth.
A brace from Luis Diaz and a wonderful finish from Darwin Nunez all before half-time was enough to secure all three points for Liverpool, sending Arne Slot’s side to the top of the Premier League standings after five games.
Although Liverpool suffered a historic loss to Nottingham Forest last week, the Anfield side have looked excellent this season in both the league and in Europe, with the Reds heading into the Bournemouth game off the back of a 3-1 win against AC Milan.
And Gabriel Agbonlahor has named four Liverpool players who really impressed him against the Cherries.

Liverpool quartet praised after ‘outstanding’ Bournemouth result
Speaking on TalkSport, the pundit lauded Nunez, Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister and Ibrahima Koante for their performances against Bournemouth, with the Reds blitzing their Premier League opponents on the day.
Agbonlahor said: “Liverpool are looking like a top outfit. Even Nunez coming in scoring an absolute stunner on his left foot, Jota didn’t even get on the pitch. Gravenberch was outstanding again, Mac Allister. Konate was tough at the back. Liverpool have a very good squad of players, so don’t rule them out.”

Although Liverpool are still trying to find their feet in some aspects to Slot’s game, the results and the performances this season speak for themselves regarding how good the Dutch coach has been since making the move to Anfield.
And with Liverpool top of the table after five games, the Reds have a fantastic foundation to build from for the remainder of the season, with the Premier League title a realistic possibility for the Merseyside giants this campaign.

Slot can have an outstanding first year in charge at Liverpool
Replacing Jurgen Klopp is a task that should have been impossible for Liverpool, but under Slot, the transition has been seamless even after a big defeat already in the book via the hands of Forest.
The former Feyenoord manager has evolved Liverpool into something quite exciting with the likes of Gravenberch, Mac Allister and Luis Diaz all thriving under Slot in the early stages of this season.
And with everyone close to clicking, there’s a real chance that Slot could have an even more successful first season at Liverpool than Klopp did, with silverware a real possibility for the Reds.
