Liverpool are now reportedly optimistic about signing one of England’s star players from Euro 2024 this summer.
The Three Lions once again finished runners-up in the European championships as Gareth Southgate’s side fell to a 2-1 defeat in the final against Spain, with Liverpool-linked winger Nico Williams the star of the show for La Roja.
Since the end of the tournament, plenty of rumours have been flying around on which standout performers from the Euros could make the big move to Europe’s elite, with Liverpool no strangers in the debate.
And one of England’s best players could now be approached by the Reds.

Liverpool eyeing move for England and Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi
According to TeamTalk, Marc Guehi has once again appeared on Liverpool’s radar, with the Reds confident they can strike an agreement to sign the Crystal Palace defender this summer for £65m.
The England international has been linked with a move to Anfield before, with Guehi one of the stars of the Euros for the Three Lions as the centre-back established himself as one of the most important players in the starting XI.
Indeed, central defence is a position Liverpool are keen to invest in this summer, with Joel Matip’s departure leaving a noticeable void at the back heading into the new Premier League season.
And in Guehi, Liverpool could have the perfect replacement in mind, with the England star a player who could push for a starting XI spot as well as develop further at a top club such as the Reds.

Guehi could be exactly what the Reds need this summer
Guehi showed at the Euros that he has the quality to go toe-to-toe with the best in Europe, with the defender already viewed by many as one of the more underrated defenders in England.
And this summer, Liverpool could be a dream next stop for Guehi, who is ready for a big move in his career having starred at the Euros and Palace in the last 12 months.
At £65m, the financial risk could be worth it for Liverpool, who will be signing a 24-year-old defender with the potential to grow into one of the best defenders in the Premier League with the right development.
